If you prefer slightly more rustic accommodations than a cottage, there are several locations available for camping - in a tent or with an RV.  Whether its back-country or front-country camping you are after, the Red Lake Touring Region has what you're looking for.  Many operators in the area offer tent or RV campsites, in combination with boat rentals and other services.

Description:
Secluded and serene, this northern park guarantees a sandy beach and shallow, warm waters ideal for swimming, fishing and canoeing. Watch for birds and other wildlife on trails that meander past beaver ponds, through wetlands and forest. A beautiful campground, with space available for tent or RV camping, is partially developed, with showers and laundry facilities, a small general store, and an extensive play area for children all available on the grounds. With ample space between campsites, visitors will not feel crowded and every site has a beautiful view of Pakwash Lake and access to Pakwash Beach.
