Red Lake

Township of Ear Falls

As the first community you will encounter in the Red Lake Touring Region, Ear Falls is home to about 1,200 residents and is conveniently located along highway 105. Be sure to keep your binoculars handy as this area has been given the distinction of being the Bald Eagle Capital of North America. The shores of the English River and Lac Seul provide a natural habitat for this majestic and powerful creature.

Ear Falls’ beautiful waterfront park and visitor information centre is an ideal location for picnics and family gatherings and boasts a sandy beach with public washrooms and change room facilities.

Tee up for a challenging round of golf at the Ear Falls Golf and Country Club. This 9-hole course was carved from a scenic northern forest of spruce and pine and has rolling fairways with a few steep hills for added difficulty. Ear Falls also offers many other recreational facilities like a fully equipped recreation centre and baseball and soccer fields.
