Trout Forest Music Festival

The echoes of song, dance and laughter break the silence of the Northern wilderness, it’s folk music at its best. The Trout Forest Music Festival is a well-established cultural event that draws people together from the entire region of Northern Ontario. It is an outdoor musical event that you won’t want to miss! Festivities take place annually in August as over 1800 patrons, volunteers, and artists come together on the shores of the English River system in Ear Falls for three days of camping, music and family fun. The bonfire music after the show is a tradition of the festival whereby barriers between the stage and audience are broken. Everyone can bring their instrument and share in this unique cultural experience. “Catch the Trout, it’s Music in the Woods!”
